General Terms
Products and services purchased from Core Hosting may be refunded only if the cancellation request is submitted within the refund window applicable to the specific product or service as described in this document. All refund requests must be submitted in writing via a ticket in the Core Hosting support system.
For the purpose of this Refund Policy, "date of transaction" means the date of purchase of any product or service, including the date any renewal is processed in accordance with the applicable service agreement. You may cancel a product at any time, but a refund will only be issued if the cancellation is requested within the refund timeframe specified for the applicable product.
Refund Eligibility
The following products and services are eligible for a refund within the specified timeframe:
- Shared Hosting — 30 days from the date of transaction. Initial purchase only. Refund is prorated based on usage.
- VPS / VDS — 30 days from the date of transaction. Initial purchase only. Refund is prorated based on usage. A 90-day cooldown applies between refunds (see Refund Cooldown below).
- Dedicated Servers — 30 days from the date of transaction. Initial purchase only. Refund is prorated based on usage. A 90-day cooldown applies between refunds (see Refund Cooldown below).
- SSL Certificates and Web Security Products — 30 days from the date of transaction. Only if the certificate has not been issued, or has been properly un-installed and revoked (see SSL section below).
The following products and services are not eligible for a refund under any circumstances:
- Domain name registrations, renewals, and transfers;
- Colocation services;
- Setup fees and migration fees;
- Add-on services and upgrades of any kind;
- Licenses of any kind;
- Paid support services;
- Custom development or consulting services;
- Installation fees for custom software or any other products;
- Service renewals of any kind (money-back guarantees apply only to initial purchases);
- Services that have been actively used beyond the applicable money-back guarantee period;
- Products or services purchased as part of a special deal or bundle (see Special Deals and Bundles below).
Shared Hosting, VPS/VDS, and Dedicated Servers
Core Hosting offers a 30-day money-back guarantee for Shared Hosting, VPS/VDS, and Dedicated Server services. If the Customer is not satisfied with the service and requests cancellation within 30 days of the initial activation, a refund of the unused portion will be issued. The refund amount is calculated as the total amount paid minus the pro-rated cost of the period the service was active.
This guarantee applies only to the initial purchase and does not extend to renewals, add-ons, or upgrades. No refund will be issued if the server IP address(es) have been blacklisted as a result of the Customer's activities.
Refund Cooldown
A refund for VPS/VDS or Dedicated Server services can only be processed if at least 90 days have passed since the last refund issued for any other VPS/VDS or Dedicated Server plan on the same account. This restriction applies across all VPS/VDS and Dedicated Server products and is intended to prevent repeated use of the money-back guarantee.
Domain Services
All domain name services are non-refundable. This applies to domain registrations, renewals, and transfers without exception, regardless of TLD or the timeframe since purchase.
SSL Certificates and Web Security Products
Core Hosting offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on SSL certificates and web security products. A refund may be issued within 30 days of the date of purchase, provided the certificate has not been issued, or has been properly un-installed and revoked.
Core Hosting reserves the right to refuse a refund for any product that is still in use, has not been un-installed, or has not been revoked. If the product meets these conditions, Core Hosting guarantees a full refund, replacement, or store credit within 30 days of the original purchase.
The 30-day money-back guarantee does not apply to:
- Additional SANs (Subject Alternative Names) added to an existing certificate, due to CA-imposed limitations;
- Hardware token purchase and shipping fees within an order;
- Subscription-based web security products — subject to the terms of your agreement, you may cancel a subscription at any time and retain access through the end of the current billing period; payments for partial billing periods are non-refundable.
Colocation Services
Colocation services are non-refundable under any circumstances.
Special Deals and Bundles
From time to time, Core Hosting may offer promotional deals that include additional products at no extra cost (for example, a free domain with a hosting plan purchase). Products provided as part of such deals are non-refundable. If the primary product in the bundle is refunded within its applicable window, any free or discounted products included in the deal will also be cancelled without compensation.
Refund Processing
By default, approved refunds are issued as store credit and applied instantly to the Customer's account balance. Store credit can be used for any future Core Hosting services.
A refund to the original payment method is processed only upon a written request from the Customer. The following conditions apply:
- Processing typically takes 48–72 hours after approval;
- Payment processing fees and transaction costs incurred by Core Hosting are deducted from the refund amount;
- The refund can only be issued to the same payment method used for the original purchase;
- Bank transfer refunds may incur additional processing fees.
Non-Refundable Circumstances
A refund will not be provided in any of the following cases:
- Server IP address(es) have been blacklisted as a result of the Customer's activities;
- The Customer's account has been suspended or terminated for a violation of Core Hosting's Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy;
- The Customer has failed to provide required information or verification documents;
- The cancellation was requested after the applicable money-back guarantee period expired;
- The service is a renewal (money-back guarantees apply only to initial purchases);
- The product was purchased using cryptocurrency, tokens, or digital assets;
- Third-party fees that have already been processed and are non-recoverable.
Prorated Refunds
Within the applicable money-back guarantee period, refunds are calculated on a pro-rated basis: the total amount paid minus the cost of the period the service was active. After the money-back guarantee period expires, Core Hosting does not provide prorated refunds for early cancellation. Fees for service periods are charged in advance and become non-refundable once the guarantee period has passed.
Refund Abuse
The purpose of the money-back guarantee is to allow Customers to evaluate whether Core Hosting's services meet their needs. Core Hosting does not tolerate abusive use of refunds. The following actions may be considered abusive:
- Requesting refunds for the same or equivalent services repeatedly;
- Purchasing services in bulk and systematically requesting refunds;
- Any other pattern of behaviour intended to exploit the refund policy.
Core Hosting reserves the right to unilaterally decline a refund request if signs of refund abuse are identified. Repeated abuse may result in account termination and denial of all future refund requests.
Chargebacks
If Core Hosting records a decline, chargeback, reversal, payment dispute, risk of payment fraud, or any other rejection of a charge on the Customer's account ("Chargeback"), this is considered a breach of the Customer's payment obligations. Core Hosting may pursue all available lawful remedies, including immediate termination of the account and all associated services without notice.
In the event of a Chargeback, the Customer's account may be blocked without the option to re-purchase or re-use it. Any data contained in the account, including content, features, or capacity, may be subject to cancellation and permanent loss.
Credit card checkout and full access to Core Hosting services will not be restored until the Customer:
- Verifies the payment method used in the disputed transaction by providing either proof of payment or a censored photo of the card showing only the first 6 and last 4 digits;
- Pays all applicable fees in full, including any fees and expenses incurred by Core Hosting or third-party payment processors for processing the Chargeback (including fees for services provided prior to the Chargeback, handling charges, and processing fees).
Cases involving criminal fraud chargebacks or obvious payment fraud (for example, use of compromised card details) will result in permanent service termination with no option for recovery.
If the Customer has questions or concerns regarding a payment, Core Hosting strongly recommends contacting the support team before initiating a Chargeback or payment reversal with the payment provider. Filing an unwarranted Chargeback may result in account suspension and additional liability for all applicable fees.
Core Hosting reserves the right to dispute any Chargeback by providing the relevant card network or financial institution with information and documentation confirming that the transaction was authorized and that the services were rendered.
Submitting a Refund Request
All refund requests must be submitted in writing via the Core Hosting customer portal. Please include the relevant order number and a brief description of the reason for the request. Requests submitted through any other channel may not be processed.
Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits the statutory rights of Consumers as described in the Core Hosting Terms of Service.
